12/20 Tokyo Korakuen Hall 2,100 sellout
At FMW's last show of 2000 at Korakuen Hall, Kodo Fuyuki, Tetsuhiro Kuroda, and Kintaro Kanemura defeated Masato Tanaka, Jado, and Gedo in what FMW billed as their last barbwire match ever in the promotion after Kuroda pinned Jado with a Technan Buster DDT. After the match, Kuroda got on the mic and called out Hayabusa, who had been backstage visiting friends while he healed from his double elbow reconstructive surgery last month. As Hayabusa was heading to the ring, Mr. Gannosuke, who had been doing color commentator for the show, came to the ring to try and stop Hayabusa. As Gannosuke was trying to convince Hayabusa to go back, Kuroda attacked both of them from behind, mocking them at the same time. Eventually, he left both the injured Hayabusa and the retired Mr. Gannosuke laying.

11/20:

Hayabusa had surgery on both elbows. He hopes to be back for the big show on 5/5/01.

11/19:

Kodo Fuyuki will appear on the big 12/23 NOAH show at Tokyo Ariake Colisseum. The scenario looks to be Fuyuki teaming with whoever they decide to try to make the successor to H as the ace of the promotion while he's out of action in a match against Tamon Honda & Naomichi Marufuji for FMW's WEW Tag Senshuken.

10/29:

10/29 Tokyo Korakuen Hall 2,150 sellout
Hayabusa & Onryu beat Kodo Fuyuki & GOEMON when Hayabusa pinned Fuyuki at 16:40. Still, Fuyuki got the better of Hayabusa here because he "operated on" Hayabusa's bad elbow, opening up a 15 centimeter cut that bled like crazy. This keeps both wrestlers strong going into the final singles showdown (at least until Hayabusa returns) on 11/12.
Masato Tanaka & Hideki Hosaka & Yoshinori Sasaki defeated Kintaro Kanemura & Supreme & Homeless Jimmy when Tanaka pinned Kanemura at 14:59.
Tamon Honda & Naomichi Marufuji retained the WEW Tag Senshuken, defeating Hisakatsu Oya & Ricky Fuji when Marufuji pinned Fuji at 9:46. I can't see how this working relationship with NOAH is worthwhile for FMW when guys they use in main events like Oya are losing to no hopers like Honda and #4's like Marufuji. These matches aren't draws, and even if FMW was splitting, which they aren't coming close to, it would still be bad because of the positioning of the guys involved. Granted Fuji is useless, but they cared enough about him to get him to the second round of the J Cup so I don't think they consider him a guy that can lose to any old outsider even though Marufuji is the better wrestler.
Gedo upset an Tetsuhiro Kuroda at 10:23. Mr. Gannosuke interfered like crazy in the end, so the result was simply to setup the Gannosuke vs. Kuroda matchup for 11/12.

10/24:

10/24 Osaka Furitsu Taiikukaikan 2
Hayabusa & Masato Tanaka beat Kodo Fuyuki & GOEMON when Hayabusa pinned GOEMON at 19:13.
Kintaro Kanemura pinned Mammoth Sasaki at 12:05.
Onryu & Ricky Fuji defeated Kyoko Inoue & Chocoball Mukai when Onryu used his Onryu clutch on Mukai at 9:59.
Jado & Gedo & Kaori Nakayama successfully defended the WEW 6 Man Tag Senshuken, defeating Hisakatsu Oya & Azusa Kudo & Emi Motokawa when Gedo pinned Azusa at 11:53.

10/22:

10/22 Kyoto KBS Hall
Kodo Fuyuki & Kintaro Kanemura & Kyoko Inoue beat Hayabusa & Masato Tanaka & Tetsuhiro Kuroda when Fuyuki pinned Hayabusa at 19:24.
Supreme & Homeless Jimmy defeated Hideki Hosaka & Mammoth Sasaki when Supreme pinned Hosaka at 17:07.
Jado & Gedo & Kaori Nakayama successfully defended the WEW 6 Man Tag Senshuken, defeating GOEMON & Shinjukusame & Flying Kid Ichihara when Jado made Ichihara submit at 13:49.

10/10:

Hayabusa needs surgery on both of his elbows, so he will be out for 6 months. Since he's been the ace of the promotion, he's had to keep wrestling in spite of numerous injuries, so they linger or never fully heal. As Hayabusa has a major title bout with Kodo Fuyuki on 11/12, he's putting off the surgery until after the match.

9/26:

9/26 Tokyo Korakuen Hall 2,200 sellout
In a 60 Minute Iron Man Match for the WEW Single Senshuken, Kodo Fuyuki kept the title by drawing Hayabusa 3 falls to 3. Fuyuki's falls came after a nadare shiki no fisherman buster and lariat, plus he won on a ring out. Hayabusa's falls came after H thunder and firebird splash, plus he made Fuyuki submit to his own Samson clutch. Surprisingly, the two enemies shook hands after the match because it was such a grueling contest. There will be a rematch under regular rules on 11/12 at Kanagawa Yokohama Bunka Taiikukan.
Mr. Gannosuke & GOEMON defeated Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Onryu when Gannosuke made Kuroda submit to the wakigatame at 7:07. Gannosuke was supposedly permanently exiled by President Arai for lariating him during the show, but you can guess how long that will last.

9/22:

9/22 Hokkaido Ashigawa Onari Shimin Center Taiikukan
Hayabusa & Masato Tanaka & Onryu & Naohiro Yamazaki beat Mr. Gannosuke & GOEMON & Hideki Hosaka & Shinjukusame when Hayabusa pinned Shinjukusame at 15:17.
Jado & Gedo defeated Hisakatsu Oya & Ricky Fuji when Jado made Fuji submit at 12:39.
Kodo Fuyuki checked out of the hospital today, but didn't wrestle.

9/21:

9/21 Hokkaido-ken Tsukisame Green Dome 6,200
In a 15,000 volt Hoden (discharge) Bakuha (explosion) Kanaami (cage) Thunder Bolt Death Match, Hayabusa pinned Kodo Fuyuki in his firebired splash at 14:48. Fuyuki got faint after the last explosion, and was carted off on a stretcher and taken to a Sapporo hospital where they gave him an MRI. Hayabusa will challenge for Fuyuki's WEW Single Senshuken on 10/26. Hayabusa's revenge for the humiliation he suffered last August in Sapporo when he was stripped of his mask and everything else he was wearing will supposedly be complete if he takes the title from Fuyuki in 5 days. Fuyuki might be too injured to wrestle him though (probably an angle).
Jado & Gedo won a 3 Way Dance for the WEW Hardcore Tag Senshuken, defeating Kintaro Kanemura & Ryuji Yamakawa and Hideki Hosaka & Mammoth (Yoshinori) Sasaki when Gedo pinned Kanemura at 14:58.
Azusa Kudo & Emi Motokawa beat Shogun KY Wakamatsu & Naohiro Yamazaki when Kudo pinned KY at 5:16. Kudo pinned Ichihara at 9:51.

9/17:

9/17 Tokyo Differ Ariake 1,650
Hayabusa pinned Yoshinori Sasaki at 24:43.
GOEMON & Kintaro Kanemura & Hideki Hosaka beat Masato Tanaka & Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya when Kanemura pinned Tanaka at 16:06.
Jado & Gedo & Kaori Nakayama captured the WEW 6 Man Tag Senshuken, defeating Kodo Fuyuki & Mr. Gannosuke & Shinjukusame when Kaori pinned Fuyuki at 11:42. Kaori was basically the beneficiary of the victory,as Jado hit Fuyuki from behind with a bamboo sword and then Kaori packaged him up (there was a low blow by Kaori in here somewhere, but I'm not sure if it was before or after Jado's shot). Fuyuki said something to the effect of it being humiliating to lose to a woman (it's not the first time this has happened to him either), but he excessively enjoyed himself.
Azusa Kudo & Emi Motokawa beat Kyoko Inoue & Flying Kid Ichihara when Kudo pinned Ichihara at 9:51.

9/15:

9/15 Saitama Kumantani Shimin Taiikukan
Kodo Fuyuki & Mr. Gannosuke & Shinjukusame captured the WEW 6 Man Tag Senshuken from Hayabusa & Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya when Fuyuki made Hayabusa submit to his Samson clutch at 20:21.
Masato Tanaka pinned Yoshinori Sasaki at 12:56.
Onryu & Azusa Kudo & Emi Motokawa defeated GOEMON & Kintaro Kanemura & Chocoball Mukai when Onryu used the Onryu clutch on Mukai at 14:58.

9/11:

Hayabusa is afraid that Great Muta won't talk to him, but he's prepared to wait around by his residence and such if that's what it takes to get to talk to him.

9/10:

9/10 Saitama Honkawagoe Pepe Hall Atlas
Kodo Fuyuki & Kintaro Kanemura & Kyoko Inoue & Shinjukusame beat Hayabusa & Hisakatsu Oya & Ricky Fuji & Naohiro Yamazaki when Fuyuki pinned Hayabusa at 16:42. Hayabusa is off to the US tomorrow to meet with Great Muta.
Masato Tanaka & Tetsuhiro Kuroda defeated Mr. Gannosuke & Chocoball Mukai when Kuroda pinned Mukai at 16:11.

9/9:

9/9 Shizuoka Twin Messe Shizuoka
Hayabusa & Hisakatsu Oya & Ricky Fuji beat Kodo Fuyuki & Mr. Gannosuke & GOEMON when Hayabusa pinned Fuyuki at 16:39.
Masato Tanaka & Tetsuhiro Kuroda beat Jado & Gedo when Tanaka pinned Gedo at 17:22.

9/8:

Kodo Fuyuki is supposed to be scared to death of the sound of the explosions that will be used in his 9/21 match. He is no longer confident that he'll win the match because he cowers everytime a bomb goes off and eventually is scared to the point that he starts weeping. Fuyuki claims that he tried to reserve a room in a Sapporo hospital for the 21st because he figures the explosions will make him sick, but the hospital rejected him. Somehow I don't think Fuyuki will be winning any awards for his Samurai spirit...

9/7:

9/7 Fukui Shi Taiikukan 2,400
Hayabusa & Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya beat Kodo Fuyuki & Kintaro Kanemura & Shinjukusame (Shinjuku Shark) when Hayabusa pinned Fuyuki at 19:03
Mr. Gannosuke & Yoshinori Sasaki defeated Masato Tanaka & Naohiro Yamazaki when Gannosuke made Yamazaki submit to a sasorigatame at 15:03..
GOEMON & Kyoko Inoue beat Ricky Fuji & Azusa Kudo when GOEMON pinned Fuji in a zenpo kaiten ebigatame at 14:12.

8/29:

If Hayabusa can win the WEW Single Senshuken from Kodo Fuyuki, he'd like to defend it against The Great Muta. The angle seems to be that Fuyuki isn't opposed to the idea if Hayabusa can get Muta to agree, since Fuyuki doesn't believe Hayabusa can both lift the title from him and get Muta to wrestle. Muta supposedly sent Fuyuki a letter stating that he wouldn't, while Hayabusa was unable to reach Muta to get an answer one way or the other. Thus, Hayabusa will probably be going to America soon so he can try to talk to Muta face to face. If this match was done in FMW, it would be their biggest match of the year. New Japan and FMW haven't worked together in quite some time though, and with New Japan about to start an interpromotional series with All Japan, the chances of NJ vs. FMW are remote at best. There's a better chance of the match happening in WCW, but they'd have to convince them to pay a guy that can actually work to wrestle one match that will mean nothing to the majority of their audience. As long as Russo is booking, you can guarantee they'd get no respect, the match would be a short travesty, and he'd find a way to piss on the FMW title (not literally, but they'd probably knock each other out with a bottle of sake or something). Really, the only thing in their favor is that Russo books for the internet, so he'd probably enjoy putting on a match that internet fans think would be really good just to show how really not good it could be since that might make him "more of a heel" (although, more likely it would get a few more people not to tune into their poor excuse for a wrestling show).

8/28:

8/28 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
In a match to determine the next challenger for the WEW Single Senshuken, Hayabusa pinned Mr. Gannosuke at 13:37.
Kintaro Kanemura & GOEMON beat Masato Tanaka & Onryu, who looks to be a regular now, when Kanemura pinned Onryu at 12:27.
Kodo Fuyuki successfully defended the WEW Single Senshuken, making Captain Jack submit to the Fuyuki special at 2:47. What did this guy do to earn a shot at their top title? It's not like they tried to get him over in the title match either as he didn't even last as long as "his" song. Most titles in the WWF do mean nothing, but one difference between them and FMW is that their top title always means a big gate and buy rate now, while Fuyuki made FMW's into virtually a non-factor.
Tetsuhiro Kuroda pinned Ricky Fuji at 5:05.
Hideki Hosaka & Yoshinori Sasaki successfully defended the WEW Tag Senshuken, defeating Jado & Gedo when Sasaki pinned Jado at 14:47.

8/26:

8/26 Sendai Miyagi-ken Sports Center
Hayabusa & Masato Tanaka & & Hisakatsu Oya beat Mr. Gannosuke & Kintaro Kanemura & GOEMON when Hayabusa pinned Gannosuke at 14:59.

Kyoko Inoue & Hideki Hosaka & Yoshinori Sasaki defeated Jado & Gedo & Kaori Nakayama when Kyoko pinned Nakayama at 16:30.

8/20:

8/20 Tokyo DIFFER Ariake
In a match where the loser gets a pie in the face, Mr. Gannosuke & Kintaro Kanemura & GOEMON beat Hayabusa & Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya when GOEMON pinned Kuroda in the GOEMON clutch at 19:25.
Kodo Fuyuki successfully defended the WEW Single Senshuken, pinning Masato Tanaka at 13:00.
Jado & Gedo beat Hideki Hosaka & Yoshinori Sasaki when Jado made Sasaki submit at 15:48.
Kyoko Inoue & Chocoball Mukai defeated Azusa Kudo & Emi Motokawa when Mukai used the kozutsumi gatame on Kudo at 12:27.

From Victor Szanyi:
It was announced that Naohiro Yamazaki (who does a gimmick where he draws aliens and can see UFOs) will face Shogun KY Wakamatsu on the 8/28 Korakuen Hall show. Wakamatsu was a wrestler for IWE in the 1970s, and a manager (as Manager Wakamatsu) in the 80s for NJPW, then in the early 90s for SWS. He managed a group of "aliens" in PWC in 1994, and has a supernaturally powered, communicates with aliens gimmick.

8/18:

8/18 Osaka Furitsu Taiikukan 2 1,500
In a match where the loser got a pie in the face, Mr. Gannosuke & Kintaro Kanemura & GOEMON beat Hayabusa & Masato Tanaka & Tetsuhiro Kuroda when Gannosuke pinned Hayabusa in the Gannosuke clutch at 19:20.
Kodo Fuyuki successfully defended the WEW Single Senshuken, pinning Hisakatsu Oya at 10:57.
Kyoko Inoue pinned Azusa Kudo at 6:13.

8/10:

FMW will blow away all previous voltage records with a 15,000 Volt Hoden (discharge) Bakuha (explosion) Kanaami (cage) Thunder Bolt Death Match between Hayabusa and Kodo Fuyuki on 9/21 at the Green Dome in Sapporo. In addition to the voltage, there will be 200 small bombs set up so some of them go off when they touch the cage. The match will be done inside a souped up version of the cage used for last November's match where Masato Tanaka forced Kodo Fuyuki's long lasting banishment from the FMWWF.

7/28:

7/28 Tokyo Korakuen Hall
Hayabusa & Masato Tanaka & Hisakatsu Oya beat Kodo Fuyuki & Mr. Gannosuke & Jinsei Shinzaki when Hayabusa pinned Gannosuke at 20:50.
Kintaro Kanemura successfully defended the WEW Hardcore Senshuken, pinning Mike Samples at 11:30. Samples was booked well because he's run over everyone including Kanemura in a non-title match since coming over from Big Japan, so he could afford this one loss and this gets Kanemura the revenge he needed because Samples pretty well embarrassed him the first time they wrestled.
NOAH undercarders Masao Inoue & Yoshinobu Kanemaru beat Jado & Gedo for the second straight time, this time capturing FMW's top tag title, the WEW Tag Senshuken, in the process. The finish came when Inoue pinned Gedo in the blockbuster hold.
Hideki Hosaka & Yoshinori Sasaki won the WEW Hardcore Tag Senshuken back from Eddie Fatu & Matty Smalls when Hosaka pinned Fatu at 13:44.

7/23:

7/23 Tokyo DIFFER Ariake 1,800
H went back to being Hayabusa for one night. They did a gimmick where if he could beat 10 guys, he'd get a shot at Fuyuki's WEW Single Senshuken, meaning he'd have to beat 11 guys in one night to win the title, including Fuyuki twice since he was in the initial 10 man challenge. H won a bunch of short matches, defeating Flying Kid Ichihara, Chocoball Mukai, Kintaro Kanemura, Yoshinori Sasaki, Hideki Hosaka, GOEMON, Mr. Gannosuke by default when he "passed out" from drinking too much, and Kyoko Inoue. This left H vs. Kodo Fuyuki and President Shoichi Arai. Jinsei Shinzaki betrayed Hayabusa, leading to Fuyuki getting the win at 8:08. Masato Tanaka made the save, so although Hayabusa didn't get the title, he found himself a new friend and partner to replace the ingrate Shinzaki who probably will be available even less now that he's working full time with All Japan.
In a ladder match for the services of manager Tomomi Tanimoto, Hisakatsu Oya defeated Kintaro Kanemura at 8:33.
Masao Inoue & Yoshinobu Kanemaru beat Jado & Gedo to earn a shot at the WEW Tag Senshuken on 7/28 at Tokyo Korakuen Hall when Inoue made Gedo submit to his Argentine backbreaker at 15:21.

7/16:

7/16 Hiroshima Onomichi Shi Kokaido

Mike Samples pinned Yoshinori Sasaki at 12:19.

Kodo Fuyuki met with Mitsuharu Misawa to try to convince him to change his mind about pulling Masao Inoue & Yoshinobu Kanemaru from the 7/23 FMW Tokyo DIFFER Ariake show. He said that if the NOAH team beats Jado & Gedo in the non-title match, they'll get a shot at their WEW tag titles on the 7/28 FMW show at Tokyo Korakuen Hall. The stupid thing about this angle is that there's no reason for Misawa to pull his guys from that FMW show, so Misawa just looks like a goof for talking about going back on his word. If NOAH needed them for their own show that night or something then at least it would make some sense. On the contrary, they are helping FMW who has a show in Tokyo on the same day that NOAH's rival All Japan is running Budokan. I guess the discrepency is that Fuyuki wanted better wrestlers since originally the 7/23 match was going to be for the tag titles, but Misawa is basically saying take 'em or leave 'em. Thus the stip that the NOAH guys have to beat the champions to earn the title shot.

7/14:

7/14 Kagawa Takamatsu Shi Sogo Taiikukan 2,860
Jado & Gedo won a decision match for the WEW Tag Senshuken, defeating H & Tetsuhiro Kuroda when Gedo used his Gedo clutch on Kuroda at 20:59. Jado & Gedo, who appeared occassionally in All Japan in 97 & 98, may participate in interpromotional matches against NOAH. Misawa had agreed to some interpromotional matches against FMW, as he let Fuyuki book Masao Inoue & Yoshinobu Kanemaru against Jado & Gedo on the 7/23 FMW Tokyo DIFFER Ariake show, but now the angle is that Misawa is ready to pull them and Fuyuki is scrambling to prevent this from happening.
Mike Samples came to FMW and beat Kintaro Kanemura in just 3:18. Samples will now get a shot at Kanemura's WEW Hardcore Senshuken on the 7/28 Tokyo Korakuen Hall show.
Eddie Fatu & Matty Smalls successfully defended the WEW Hardcore Senshuken against Hideki Hosaka & Yoshinori Sasaki when Smalls pinned Fatu at 14:35. Yep, hardcore titles aren't very meaningful in Japan as well.

H & Hayabusa should have saved Ricky Fuji from being blown up by defeating Kodo Fuyuki & GOEMON when H pinned GOEMON in his firebird splash at 14:45. However, Fuji was blown up anyway. The match started off as H vs. both. It was very noticable that H was working hurt. He was bloodied and nearly pinned when Genichiru Tenryu came out under a Hayabusa mask to save the day. Tenryu took out Fuyuki with his powerbomb, and H got the pin on GOEMON

Kodo Fuyuki is "being selfish" because he demanded that Genichiru Tenryu wrestle in FMW in exchange for Fuyuki working the WAR 8th Anniversary show. Tenryu will appear on FMW's Korakuen Hall show on 6/16 and have an 8 man tag match against Fuyuki's team on 6/21.

Kodo Fuyuki & GOEMON & Kyoko Inoue & Hideki Hosaka beat H & Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya & Ricky Fuji in an irregular match when beat H by ref stop at 21:35. Fuyuki got Fuji placed on "house arrest," so it was actually 4 on 3.
"The deal with Fuyuki and Fuji isn't really house arrest, but it's much, much stupider. Fuyuki 'captured' Fuji and tied him up in a basement or warehouse somewhere, with the idea being that if H and 'Hayabusa' don't beat Gannosuke and GOEMON on the 16th, Fuyuki will 'blow Fuji up with dynamite.' It's actually being promoted as 'Ricky Fuji exploded to kill match.' The official FMW page is posting a picture everyday of Fuji in custody. I think this has topped Fuyuki's 'retirement' as his worst idea," wrote Victor Szanyi.

H was told by doctors to take 6 weeks off so his left ankle could heal, but he's wrestling anyway. He teamed with Tetsuhiro Kuroda & Hisakatsu Oya & Ricky Fuji to beat Kodo Fuyuki & GOEMON & Kyoko Inoue & Hideki Hosaka when he pinned Hosaka at 18:08. I think there's an angle where Fuyuki is forcing H to compete in all his scheduled matches or his team has to wrestle handicap matches.
