The Great Sasuke reached an agreement with Mitsuharu Misawa to let Naomichi Marufuji challenge Sasuke for the NWA World Middleweight Title. The match should take place on 10/8 at Tokyo Differ Ariake. Sasuke wants the groups to continue to work together. In particular, he'd like Misawa to don the hood as Tiger Mask for a tag match with the 4th Tiger Mask. |

Cho Country Plaza Gran Naniwa & Minoru Fujita left Michinoku Puroresu on 8/20. Naniwa is going to work in Japan as a free agent, while Fujita is also looking to wrestle overseas. Supposedly they are going to start their own promotion, but this may all be an angle. For the Tokyo shows no 10/8 & 10/9, Sasuke will have singles matches with Naomichi Marufuji & Dos Caras respectively. If Sasuke is still NWA World Middleweight champion at this time, the title should be defended in one if not both of these matches. |
