In the main event of the 8th anniversary show, Genichiru Tenryu beat Hayabusa in 12:44. Tenryu said he would like to have his first singles match with Steve Williams in All Japan and thinks he can use his connections to get big names such as Nobuhiko Takada & Masaaki Satake to fight him in All Japan as well. However, on this day he was only able to confirm that he's enlisted his disciple Nobutaka Araya into All Japan. Araya lost to Koki Kitahara, who runs the small Capture promotion, in the semifinal when Kitahara made him submit to an udegatame at 10:54.
CIMA & SUWA & Sumo "Dandy" Fuji Nichi defeated Dragon Kid & Genki Horiguchi & SAITO when SUWA pinned Horiguchi at 17:21.

WAR announced their 8th anniversary card called 8 year later on 7/13 at Tokyo Korakuen Hall. The main event will be a battle of the four biggest names from WAR's peak that are still active, as Genichiru Tenryu teams with Koki Kitahara against Kodo Fuyuki & Nobutaka Araya. The best match on the show should be Dragon Kid & Genki Horiguchi & SAITO vs. CIMA & SUWA & Sumo "Dandy" Fuji Nichi. The rest of the matches predominantly consist of Toryumon, Onita Pro, and LLPW wrestlers, but really nothing that will be all that good or sell tickets.

The 8th Anniversary show will be 7/13 at Tokyo Korakuen Hall. Genichiru Tenryu said he wants to make it something of significance. Considering they only took out Korakuen, I wouldn't expect too much.

Genichiru Tenryu is working on putting together WAR's 8th anniversary show. Tenryu may wrestle Kodo Fuyuki in the main event.

Genichiru Tenryu & Atsushi Onita teamed with Magnum TOKYO to defeat Nobutaka Araya & Shoji Nakamaki & TARU in the main event when Tenryu used the northern lights bomb on Araya at 18:32. It was obvious that Tenryu & Onita would win, but it's surprising that WAR would have their top star (since Tenryu is technically a free agent) Araya lose when a guy they never did anything with like Diamond Dallas Taru was in the match. I know TARU is with Toryumon now, and it's not quite as easy to get another leagues wrestler to lose, especially when their wrestler is losing in the semifinal, but still.
The semifinal saw Masaaki Mochizuki defeat Toryumon's SAITO with a twister at 11:53 to retain the WAR Nintei International Junior Heavykyu Senshuken
